On Thursday, March 17th, 2022, God was walking around heaven and noticed he had an empty spot that needed to be filled. He checked his heavenly appointments for the day, reached his hand out to Yvonne and said come with me. It is time to join your heavenly family, they are waiting on you.
Yvonne Dickson was born on March 13th, 1963, along with her twin sister, to Tommie and Virginia Wallace Dickson. She graduated from Troy High School. She worked in the administrative field for many years with RPI, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, and United Health. She later obtained her CNA license and worked in the capital district. Upon relocation, she joined the workforce in PA. Yvonne enjoyed shopping, traveling, reading and playing bingo.
She joined Bethel Baptist Church at an early age. She was a member of the youth choir, usher board, delegate for the annual Baptist retreats, pastor aid committee, and the financial secretary for the church for many years.
Yvonne leaves to cherish her precious memories a loving and devoted companion, John Brinkley, Whitehall, PA; twin sister Yvette (Troy) Dickson-Webb, Baltimore, MD; Loretta Dickson, Christine Dickson, Margaret Holmes, Troy, NY; Corsina (Michael) Dickson-Wiley, Nashville, TN; sister-in-law, Margo Dickson, Schenectady, NY; Aunts Hellen (Walter) Thompson, Greeleyville, SC; Shirley (Jasper) Holmes, Myrtle Beach, SC; Estelle (Ronald) Randolph, Cynthia Johnson, Lucille Griffith and Delores Dixon, Baltimore, MD; Uncle Andrew Wallace, Troy, NY; second mom, Maliscy Brinkley, Whitehall PA, Great aunt Mary Lee Carter, Manning, SC; A host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. Her besties, Gail Harris, Sharon Branch-Thomas, Sandra Lewis-McCann-Rucker, and Norma Hicks.
She was predeceased by her parents, Tommie and Virginia Dickson; brothers, John Dickson and Kenny Dickson, and sister Lorraine Lawson.
