On October 20. 1948, Wilbur Wallace Banks was born to the late Robert and Lucy Banks in Richmond VA. They moved to Center Moriches NY when he was very young. Wilbur was the second oldest of 6 children, he was a man of many talents. His best talent was helping people in need.
Wilbur moved to Upstate NY and began a career as a Certified Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor. He worked for Hudson Mohawk Recovery center for 20+ years and Father Peter Young’s 820 River St. Inc. He really enjoyed his work and was Loved respected and appreciated by his co-workers and clients.
Wilbur’s smile could light up any room he walked into, He was a caring friend, son, brother, and father. On July 28,2021 Wilbur was called to glory. Wilbur Wallace Banks will Truly be Missed by all who knew and Loved him.
He leaves to Cherish his memories: His Children, Lisa Teamer, Robert Teamer, Leon Key, his, Jerrod Coston and Myron Robinson Grand- children Vaughn Hunter, A’Niya Lawson, and Amaree’ Teamer, and goddaughter NyAzia Brown. 4 Sisters: Doretha Eason, Barbara Hill, Dorothy and Joe Bullard and Marilyn and Algie Massey. 1 Brother and Best Friend Robert Banks Jr, and his Favorite Sister-in-Law Alvina Cunningham, and He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
