Vickie R. Edwards

Vickie Renee Edwards, age 60, was a spiritual leader, caring, hardworking, devoted mother, who will be survived by her children, Kahiem Edwards 43, Shaima Gellineau 39, Dinari Geter 20, with two grandchildren Serenity Diggs 14 and Kahsiyah Caine 11.

Vickie was the eldest Sibling to Bruce Edwards, Ramona Holder-Bowers, Sandra Holder and Felicia Edwards-Williams. Vickie grew up in Brooklyn, NY were she gained friendships education and even relationships.

Once older she moved to Harlem, NY were, she worked as a Skilled Plumber, the only female in her Union. She enjoyed and was proud of the field she chose. She studied Image Consultant at Parson School Of Design and also was studying to become an Entrepreneur. Vickie love to read pray, shopping and working to make the best for herself and children.

She always had a dream she will get a beautiful home so family can visit. Vickie had a very humorous way when it comes to comical things, her laugh would make you laugh! She always wanted what’s best for her children so she decided to move to Albany, NY.

Residing in Albany Vickie seen opportunities in the Nursing field so she became a CNA (certified nursing assistant) furthering her career she became a LPN ( Licensed Practical Nurse) through the Boces Program, with goals to become a RN (Registered Nurse). Vickie loved nursing because she was able to help and heal others from mental institutions to nursing homes.

Vickie will always be missed for all the informative information and knowledge of life she always had to give. Family and Friends will always have a Special place in our hearts, you will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
