Vanessa A (Washington) Mitchell age 60 passed away unexpectedly Thursday, June 19th, 2025 . She was born July, 12th, 1964 in Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, Ny born to Harry Washington and Gertrude Reavis . She graduated from Erasmus Hall High School in 1983 . Vanessa was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Mitchell (d.2006), son Reginald Washington (d.2018), brother Harry Washington Jr and granddaughter Xaliah Alston (d.2021)

She is survived by her siblings Teresa, La’Sharn, Ebony and Darren as well as her 10 children Raeshauna, Tyanna, Lexus, Diamond, Tanisha, Xavier, Jasmine, Iana and Wyomine and grandchildren ; Na,Veion, Indya, Xaliahn, Za’Rayah, Naquan, Jaelah, Kayson, E’Siyah, Cashmir and many more as well as many close friends and family .
