Sidney Allen Chapman

Sidney Allen Chapman departed this life on August 7, 2021 at the Albany Medical Center Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Son of the late Cumy and Louise Chapman, loving father of Hasham (Brandy) Chapman of Waynesboro PA, Senequa (William) Nelson of Converse, TX, and Qumar Chapman of Albany, nine grandchildren; four brothers; John Tucker, Ralph Nunally, Willie (Monique) Chapman and Edward Chapman, Seven Sisters: JoElla Tucker, Jean Smith, Juanita Edwards, Lorraine (Carlton) Tatum, Barbara, Sherlyn, and Denise Chapman. 80+ nieces and nephews, a host of cousins relatives and friends.

Predeceased by his Parents, 3 sisters, 5brothers and a special friend and brother John Medley.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021, at Elijah Missionary Church, 70 Second Avenue, Albany.  Viewing Hours 9 to 11am Funeral service, 11am.  FACE MASKS ARE REQUIRED
