Nettie Y. Kite

On Sunday, November 29, 2020 Nettie Yvonne Kite passed into eternal life.  Nettie was born in Palatka, Florida on May 2, 1960 to Junior Wright and Florence Kite.  She was adopted by her aunt, Josephine Kite Flowers and later moved to Albany, NY.  Nettie graduated from Albany High School and attended Hudson Valley Community College where she studied to become Paralegal and worked for a major Law Firm in Albany, NY.

Nettie loved animals, music, playing cards and Bingo.  Left to cherish her memory are her son Terrance Tyrone Kite, her daughter Shontey Kite, adopted mother, one Aunt Lucy M. Kite, five adopted brothers, Levon Flowers, Andre Flowers, John Flowers, Brian Flowers, James Flowers, three adopted sisters Sonya Flowers, Karen Flowers, Cheryl Flowers.  She was predeceased by her mother Florence Kite-Lee.  Nettie was the grandmother of O’Dayer, Shammkqua, Ja’Quann, Dataya, Derrick, Robert, Demetrius, Terrell Eugene Collins, Devon Michael Collins, Terrence Tyrone Kite Jr., Pureasia Paradise Moja Kite, Michael Aaron Kite, Levon Kite.  She is also survived by a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
