Ms. Mary M. Lane

MARY M LANE passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 9:45pm, after a prolonged illness at The Hudson Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Northern Blvd, Albany, NY.

Mary was born August 10, 1946 at Holy Cross Hospital Pompano Beach Florida. To the late George and Nat’l Evang. Mother Mary N Lane. She was the fourth of seven children.

The family relocated to Schenectady, NY in 1954. 141 Washington Ave., next door to The Schenectady Armory. In the Historical area of the city.

Mary attended the Schenectady City School District. And went on to work as Bank Teller for The Schenectady Trust Bank and in the Turbine Assembly for The General Electric Co. Both being located in downtown Schenectady, NY.

Mary’s last employ and retirement was from The Albany Housing Authority, Henry Johnson Blvd, as Senior Clerk and Office Manager.

She is survived by her Son; Jonathan D. Lane and daughter; Vikki E. Ervin(Sam) both of Schenectady, NY: Two brothers; Pastor, Elder John L. Lane(Carol; Deceased)of Bayville, NJ; Leroy D. Lane(Sandy) and one sister; Rudine T. Green(Arthur) both of Niskayuna, NY; 14 Grandchildren; Jamie, Rahmell, Damein, James, Bobby, Ashley, Shannon, Dwight, Jovanah, Genise and a host of Great and Great-Great Grandchildren, neices, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Predeceased along with her parents are: two daughters Jacqueline D. Lane and Patricia A. Lane; one sister Evelyn Clay and one brother James E. Lane; one Granddaughter Tricia A. Lane
