Ms. Angie Marie McCrae

Angie Marie McCrae entered into her divine transformation on March 21st, 2023. Born in Troy, NY she is the daughter  and eldest child of the late Sam and Alethia Conyers.

Known by many as Marie, our mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend worked for many years as a home health aid before spending several years as a social worker in Troy, NY. Marie loved watching her favorite TV shows, cooking, spending quality time with her family and helping people most of all with her wisdom and experience as a child of God. 

Marie is survived by her children: Curtis (Faye) Sloan (Virginia Beach, VA) Dederia Whitely  (Savannah, GA), Tyler McCrae (Troy, NY) and special son Robert Cyrus. (Troy, NY) She will be remembered by her grandchildren and great grandchildren: Dorian Sloan, Lativia Perkins, Jazmine Sloan, Jamie Rose Williams and Robert Theodore Williams. Also surviving are her siblings Sam Conyers of Virginia Beach, VA, Doris (Pete) Hemingway and Althea (John) Lino both of Troy, NY. Marie was predeceased by her siblings: Nadine Robinson, Curtis Conyers and Rosemary Conyers and granddaughter Kayla Sloan.

Marie’s loving spirit also leaves a host of other close relatives and special friends to cherish her memory forever.
