Obituary

William C. Dewitt son of the late Covel and Louella Dewitt, was born May 12, 1951. He departed this life on Friday May 12, 2023 at The Center for Nursing and Rehab at Hoosick Falls New York. 

William attended Columbus County School District and graduated from Westside High School.

William work at Sealy Mattress Company until Retirement, He also enjoyed playing softball, and bowling.

William C. Dewitt leaves  to cherish his  memory his daughters Shamaya Jk Thompson- Mitchell, Sileasha IH Dewitt. Grandchildren Kiyattra JD Thompson-Johnson, (TY) Johnson, Diamante LD Thompson. Great grandchildren AH'Miah Johnson, Ivy Johnson, Azania Johnson. 4 Sisters, Janie Thompson, Pansy Robinson, Evangelist Eutrhia Benson, Barbara Dewitt. 2 Brothers Chester (Teresa) Dewitt, and Jerry (Dorothy) Dewitt. 1 Uncle Mr. Joseph Barr of Denver Colorado Niece and long time caretaker Janet Harris . 8 Siblings preceded him to the Grave.
