Michael Anthony Dale
Suddenly, on January 29,2024 at Albany Medical Center, he transitioned over to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Michael Anthony Dale was born on May 11, 1956 in Albany, NY to Delores and the late John A. Dale.
Michael graduated from Shaker High School in 1974. Upon graduation, his interest was solely in fine Arts & Entertainment. In 1983, he had the leading role in the Schenectady Light Opera Company’s production of the musical Pippin at the Proctors Theater. He wore the hat Ben Vereen wore when he played this part on Broadway. Michael appeared in a number of shows and later in 1981, he appeared on an episode of the soap opera One Life to Live. This was truly his passion. Later on, Michael went to work for NYS Higher Education where he worked for many years until he retired.
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother Delores, brother Deacon John (Rev Candace) Dale, daughters Alyssa Prieto of FL, Jasmine (Doc) Michaela (Cubby) of Troy; two grand children John Dylan and Jordan Rafael of FL and niece Courtney of Albany, NY.
He was predeceased by father Chief John A. Dale and wife Christine Dale.
