Mr. Mark Jeffery Burton

The Obituary

On August 18th, 2023, Mark entered eternal rest. Mark Jeffrey Burton was born on December 26, 1963 in Albany, NY, to the proud parents of the late Eva Mae Burton and the late Bob Burton. He was a sibling of 10 children. Mark received his education at Bishop Maginn High School, Albany NY.

Mark was a very spiritual man and a mighty prayer warrior that never gave up. He was also an ambassador for the Lord. He enjoyed praising and talking about the Lord. Anyone he came in contact with, he would say, “The blessings of the Lord be upon you, and I bless you in the name of God”. 

Mark was employed by the Albany City School District at Livingston Middle School Academy. He was also employed by Sears & Roebuck, located in Albany, NY. 
Mark Leaves to cherish his memory, his Children: Jamel Johnson, Jameel Burton (Beefy), Divine Burton, and Desiree Burton. Four Grandchildren:  Nasier Burton, Janiah Burton, Jamia Burton, and Jameel Burton JR.

 Mark grew up in a large, loving family including nine siblings, five sisters: Betty Jean Gray (Clayborn) of Castleton, NY, Eva Annie Williams (David JR -Deceased) of Albany, NY, Doris Powell (Glenn) of Clinton, MD, Debbie Burton Childs (Lee) both deceased, Vanessa Marie Burton of Albany, NY and four brothers, Robert Burton (Marie) of Roselle, NJ, George Burton (deceased), Rickey Burton of Albany, NY, Rodney Burton of Albany, NY. Mark nieces and nephews will also cherish his memory along with numerous relatives and friends.
