Mr. Gregory Tillery Obituary

Gregory Tillery, 64, of Albany, passed away on April 23, 2023, in Troy. He was born on September 25, 1958, in Albany to the late Elijah Tillery and Alice Carrington. Greg was a joyful soul who loved being around his family, laughing, partying, and just having a good time. He loved kids, especially his God kids, and was always eager to spend time with them. Greg had a passion for sports and enjoyed watching all sports, but his favorite was golf, especially if Tiger Woods was playing. He also enjoyed cooking and baking. As children the community use to enjoy a summer program called Acapulco. Where we enjoyed summer camp for a week abroad, Gregory use to let everyone know that the bus was on its way by yelling out"Here Comes The Bus" which became his Trademark and legendary soundbite. Greg was a very caring and loving individual that loved his family and friends.

Greg is survived by his siblings Keith Tillery(Barbra), Belinda Tillery, Elijah Tillery, Brenda Jones(Johnny), Kimberly McDonald(Robert), and Jacqueline Tillery. His God children, Jose, Michael, Nicholas, Ashley, and Isaiah, and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Elijah Tillery, and  Alice Carrington, his siblings, Rosalind Carrington, Ronald Carrington, and Derrick Carrington, and host of cousin's family and Friends.
