On Monday, April, 14, 2025 Milton Gerome Berrien succumbed to his injuries sustained from a tragic motorcycle accident. He was born on March 7, 1964 in Spring Valley, NY to the late Louis S. Berrien and Mildred Allen Berrien. He retired from New York State Office of General Services as an Engineer. “Gerome” or “Rome” as he was affectionately called had his own unique sense of humor. He loved riding his motorcycle in his spare time, and his number one hobby that he absolutely enjoyed was fishing and especially Deep Sea fishing.
He is survived by his son; Joshua Berrien of Albany, NY his daughter; Adrienna Berrien of Middletown, NY His special friend; Lisa Boyd Three Grandchildren; Nye’Mah Berrien, Kierejay Berrien both of Albany, NY and Ivy Lynn Berrien of Middletown, NY One sister; Tracey Berrien of Troy, NY One brother; Levon Berrien of Spring Valley, NY His favorite niece; Kimberly Berrien of Durham, NC, whom he shared a special bond His cousin; Louise Stephens of Spring Valley, NY His close friends; Darrius Osborne and Dean Nakoa and a sister from another mother; Viola Robertson. He was predeceased by his mother and father and sister; Brenda Gail Berrien. Gerome will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, and may his memories live on.
