Michael L. Carden (Bello)

Michael L. Carden AKA Bello/ Smidget, passed away on April 22, 2023 at Ellis Hospital, Schenectady, N.Y. He was born on March 14, 1986, 2 months premature. He has always been a survivor but sadly lost this fight. Michael was loving, kind, charismatic and had a sense of humor larger than life. He also loved being near any type of water, whether it was a lake or beach.  He loved to just sit and think, as he struggled to make sense of any and everything.  Michael always strived to be a peacemaker and never harbored any ill intent or malice toward anyone. His ability to help and care for others was something he never spoke of nor did he expect any reciprocation. But more than anything, he loved family and always yearned to have them around.

Michael leaves behind to cherish his memories, his dad Charles and mom Sonia whom he affectionately called his Bud, his brother Carlos, his “little twin sister” Donyai Hill, whom he called Uggs,  nieces Anashia Alicea, with whom he played a significant role in her life and Kamryn Hill, affectionately referred to as Monsta. Michael also leaves behind the mother of his unborn child, Michelle Amaya, whom he called wifey. He often said that she and his mother were his Rock. Michael is also survived by his maternal grandmother, aunts, uncles and cousins along with his friends who loved him dearly and will miss him greatly. It is with a heavy heart we all can say that Mikey, "you will truly be missed." We can look forward to the time when “all those in the memorial tombs” will be awaken and resurrected to life ( John 5:28). Until we meet again.
