Lorie A. Bacchus

A much-loved wife, mother, daughter and sister, Lorie Bacchus, 52 of Albany NY passed away peacefully with family and friends surrounding her September 24, 2025.

Lorie was born September 5, 1973 in Albany NY and she also resided here as well.  She attended Albany public school where she graduated from Albany High School in 91! And she went off to excel in the work force as a Customer Care Rep until she became sick. 

Lorie was the life of the party , She loved to laugh , cook and spend time with her family.  She also loved to window shop and just walk around the mall with her friends and family. Lorie was crazy about her boys and loved them dearly. Also, she was her mother best friend. One thing we will miss about Lorie is her fried chicken and fish it was to die for.

Lorie leaves behind her loving husband Curtis Bacchus; three sons: Brendon Simmons, Josh Simmons and Keyshawn Bacchus; a loving and devoted mother: Gladys Davis; Two brothers: Ronnie Patrick, Lorenzo Davis; and a host of cousins and other relatives.  She also leaves her only girl “Misa” her dog.

Lorie’s father, Lorenzo Davis, brother, Michael Patrick and son, Michael Simmons preceded her in death.
