Kendra Martine Sims, also known by most as Kendra, was born on June 22, 1970 in Albany, NY to Marjorie Branch Cannon and McKinley Branch, Sr. She graduated from Mercy High School, she moved to South Carolina and graduated from The Orangeburg Alumni Chapter of South Carolina State University. She graduated with a Human Psychology Associate Degree. From a very young age she pursued to be an Assistant Manager for Powerful Productions Management (PPM).
Kendra Sims was a beautiful soul that touched many hearts, and she knew how to take your pain and give you happiness. She also took pride in being a mother to her three sons. Kendra is predeceased by her father, McKinley Branch, Sr., and grandparents, Julia Cannon and Ernest Cannon.
Kendra Sims departed her life on July 24, 2021. She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her mother Marjorie Branch Cannon, brother McKinley Branch Jr., aka Powerful, sisters, Elaine (Dean) Terry, Juanita Kimberley Branch and Lovett J. Cannon, sons, Quaivon McJuan Venson, Sr., Edwin Richard Aqapito, and Shaheed Josiah McCrae, one grandson, Quaivon McJuan Venson, Jr., and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, godchildren and friends.
