Julio Carmona-Baez

On Tuesday September 24th, 2024 Julio Carmona Baez was called home. After several months of declining health, he died peacefully at the age of 86. 

Julio was born and raised in Puerto Rico on July 4th, 1938. He later relocated to Albany, New York and worked various odd jobs around the city of Albany. Julio met his longtime companion of 30+ years, Ann Marie German(preceded him in death) in 1985 and quickly became a part of the family. Over the span of these 30 years, Julio served as a stepdad to Loletha Patterson (Bootsy) and grandfather to her children; Madaya, Jalell, and Tre'Jere.

Julio loved the NY Yankees, WWF Wrestling, listening to his police scanner and collecting watches! He had a big smile that lit up a room and was always there to lend a hand when needed.

We love you Julio and will miss you! This is not our goodbye, just adios (for now) amigo! Until we meet again.....
