Joseph E. Johnson (Davis) Born 13th of November 1962, at Jamaica Hospital in South Jamaica, NY passed suddenly on the 14th of December 2021 at his home in Troy, NY. He was 59 years old. He leaves behind his mother, Cynthia Coulter, sisters Dianne Downs and Jonnice Coulter and a host of family and friends. He was a father of eight: Shantell (Shaniqua), Terrell (Phyllis), Tenisha (Veronica), Joseph (Nima), Deja (Thyesha) and Jasmine and Jailynn (Brenda) and a grandfather of seven. He was predeceased by his father Ronald Jones, his brother Richard “Pete” Simms, and his daughter Victoria (Veronica). He worked on the secure ward at Samaritan Hospital for 19 years where he served his patients with care and kindness.

My Name Is Deja. My Dad Was Joseph And He Wasn’t Just Any Dad He Was A Wonderful Dad Who Had A Big Heart. He Loved With His Whole Heart No Matter The Situation. He Raised His Kids And More Who Now Looks To Him As Their Own. Joseph E Johnson Is Gone Forever But Will Forever Live In Our Hearts. He Left The Community Hurt And Without Words. For My Dad We Most Stay A Strong Family All At Once Hes Watching The Mistakes We Are Gonna Continue To Make And The Accomplish The Goals We Thought We Couldnt Make. Let’s Continue To Make Him Smile On The Days We Feel WeCant Make It December 14th Is The Date Ill Remember .Your Grandson And I Love You Forever And Always Dont Forget That.
