Jolon McNeal

Jolon McNeal age 32 departed this life suddenly on August 25, 2021. He was born March 26, 1989 in Albany NY to Joseph McNeal and Sherry Williams. Jolon was educated in the Albany Public School System. He had a passion for Culinary Arts and worked in various restaurants in the Capital District Area developing his culinary skills.  Jolon proved to be a leader in the workforce and was given managerial positions reflecting his leadership abilities. 

Jolon was always striving to better himself which led him to Rochester, NY to seek greater opportunities,  Jolon was a loving father, beloved son, wonderful brother, and also a great friend. He was family oriented and protective of those he loved.  Jolon was a special individual with a beautiful spirit. Although he is gone his beauty can live on through the hearts; he touched while with us. He will be missed but his memory will live on.

Left to cherish his memory are his four precious children: 3 daughters, Nevaeh, Miah and Odalys McNeal; 1 son, Jolon McNeal Jr.; his father, Joseph McNeal & mother, Sherry Williams; paternal grandmother, Lena McNeal.

Siblings: Warren (Shirley) Arrington, Joshawn & Sharava Williams; Josiah Sheldon; Jomeek, Shareva, Justin, Shanavia, Jomeer, Joseph Jr, Aaliayh, Learah and Julius McNeal.

Nephews & Nieces: Alexander, Mekhi, Nassir & Denasia Arrington; Joshawn Jr & Jonea Williams; Jaliessa, Jaliea, Jomarie & Jomarion McNeal; Ayanna McNeal; Jah’cere McClinton; Seh’Ni Ponder; E’lani McNeal; god-sister, Kyara Taylor; others left to carry on:  Reinamarie Curet, Jimmyka King & Nikita Collins; along with a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family and friends. Jolon was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Eva Williams and paternal grandfather, Douglas (June) McNeil.
