Johnny Harrison Obituary: Johnny Harrison 75, born Charles Aurillius Ray III, of Albany, NY, died Sunday, January 22 due to complications from a stroke suffered weeks ago. He was born May 9th, 1947 to Charles Aurillius Ray Jr and Geraldine Ray of Albany NY. Charles Ray III (Johnny Harrison) is survived by 2 brothers John Donald Ray of Riverside, CA and William Robert Ray of Atlanta, GA and 1 sister Dorothy Ann Ray of Duquesne, PA. many extended family members including but not limited to Kenneth Ray, Jr and Charlene Gaylin Ray of Albany, Anthony Robert Martin Ray of Poughkeepsie, NY. He was proceeded home by both his parents, Charles and Geraldine Ray, and 3 of his brothers, Kenneth Martin Ray (USMC), James Richard Ray, David Timothy Ray (USMC) and 1 of his sisters Charlene Gaylin Ray. He is also survived by a host of extended family members and many, many good friends and acquaintances too many to name and a special close friend who was considered family Sonya Howard of Albany all whom loved him dearly. A celebration of life will be held on his birthday (May 9th 2023) in the community room at his place of residence. All are welcome to come and share.
