Jamilla Nymia Tirado, born on May 16, 1998, at Queens General Hospital, lived a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. She will be remembered for her radiant smile, kind and forgiving heart, and loyalty to those she loved.
Jamilla was blessed with the love of two mothers Parisha Diggs, who brought her into the world, and Maria Tirado, who lovingly raised her. Their shared devotion helped shape the compassionate, beautiful soul she became.
A proud graduate of Queens Satellite High School, Jamilla built a meaningful career in customer service with the Department of Child Support. She found joy in helping others & She devoted much of her life to caring for herself & younger brothers, Gregory and Mitchell, and to creating lasting memories with those she loved. Her passions included traveling, cooking, beauty, fashion, and photography.
Above all, Jamilla treasured her family and friends, leaving behind a lifetime of love and laughter that will continue to live in the hearts of both her mothers Parisha Diggs and Maria Tirado. Sisters, Genetha Ramos, Eileen Tirado, Jenny Tirado, Jakeya Diggs-Chestnut and brother in law Kevin chestnut. Her Brothers Deandre Diggs, Dominic Diggs, Jamieer Vaughn, Gregory Tirado, Mitchell Diggs, Victor Tirado Jr., Anthony Ramos, and Isiaiah Tirado along with many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
She now joins those who welcomed her home Victor Tirado, Marylin Rosado Tirado, Geraldine Artis, George Artis Virginia Abraham,& her beloved boyfriend Cepelynn T Johnson, where love and laughter will never fade.
Jamilla will be deeply missed by all who knew her especially her family and the many friends who became like family throughout her life. Though it’s impossible to name everyone who held a special place in her heart, their memories together will forever be cherished.
A celebration of Jamilla’s life will be held on October 25 at 20 White St, Cohoes, NY 12047, where friends and family are invited to gather in love and remembrance.
