James "Jimmy" Lunday, Jr. treasured, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend was called home to rest on November 14, 2025.
James was born November 19, 1955 to the late James F. Lunday, Sr. and Thelma Butler-DePremis. James was a graduate of Philip Schuyler High School in Albany, NY. He retired from Albany Medical Center after 48 years of service and NYS Dept of Education after 20 years of service. James was a humble quiet man that loved his family. He would look forward to going to finnegan's to play his numbers. His recently deceased son James F. Lunday, III held a special place in his heart.
Jimmy is servived by his wife Barbara A. Brown- Lunday daughter Tameka N. Miller, grandchild Quaseer Miller, great grand Quinari Miller, sister Sharon Lunday of GA, Gwyn Lunday of N.C. Mazelle Lunday Bunch of Albany, NY, brother Darrell Sharpe of MA, a special brother and sister in law Isaiah Brown (Diane) and many beloved nieces, nephews, friends and family.
In addition to his son James was predeceased by his parents James F. Lunday,Sr. and Thelma Butler-DePremis, stepmother Lottie Lunday, Sisters Sandra Jean Crawford, Bonnie S. Lunday, nephew Marquis M. Coffin, special friend Deanna Morton.
