James "Jim" Beverly, 81 of Syracuse, NY, passed away on Friday December 4th, 2020 at home, after battling Pulmonary Fibrosis. James was educated at Albany High School and left in the 11th grade to enter the military alongside his twin brother John. They were stationed at Lockbourne AFB, Columbus, Ohio where James was then deployed to Africa. He was honorably discharged in December of 1957. James was an Iron Worker, operating out of Iron Workers Local 60 of Syracuse, NY until he retired in 2009.
He was predeceased by his Parents; James Beverly, Helen & James Barnes, Brothers; John Beverly and Charles Dempsey, Sister; Ella Mae (Overby) Johnson, Aunt; Margaret Sandifer, Son; Anthony Beverly, and Niece; JoAnna Dale.
James leaves to cherish his wonderful life: his Children; Tanya Beverly, James "Terrance" Beverly, Toya Beverly - Bender; Special Grandchildren; Anthony (Tea) Bender, Tiana Bender and Jazmine Jackson, Grandchildren Special Great- Grandchildren; Aydin James Bender, Great Grandchildren, Siblings; Priscilla (William) Wiseman, Rev. Beverly Timmons, Margaret Brandon, Marjorie Barnes, William (Linda) Barnes, Helen (Harry) Hart Sr., Nephews and Nieces, Great Nephews and Great Nieces, and Generations of Cousins.
