George T. Ford, known to his family and friends as “Bunny”, age 84, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2022, at Albany Medical Center after an extended illness. George was born in South Boston, Virginia. He was the son of the late George W. Ford and Henrietta Wells. George was an independent contractor and owner/operator of a dump truck service, working with various companies throughout his career. George was very knowledgeable in mechanics, which included heavy equipment, as well as motor vehicles. Repairing and replacing engines in vehicles was an interesting challenge for him, which he enjoyed immensely.
