Elnoria Moore, 93, of Orange St., passed away peacefully Monday, October 20, 2025, at Evergreen Commons Rehabilitation Center, Born in Okolona, Mississippi, she was the daughter of The Late Ollie White and Ora C. White, Elnoria attended the Albany City School District , Elnoria had been employed by Sterling Pharmaceutical company for 35 years, after that she spent many years at The Albany County Nursing Home where she worked as a nurses aid, she took care of the residents as if they were her own family, Elnoria was a member of The New Covenant Chirstian Fellowship Church where she attended regularly until her health wouldn’t allow her to attend.
Elnoria was the widow of the late Earl Moore who died in 1984, she is the loving mother of her one and only child Jimmy Wallace Jr. of Albany, NY. She is the sister of the late Castoria Young, Levoria White, Sammy D. White, James C. White, Andrew Wilson and Howard Wilson who all proceeded her in death. She is the proud grate grandmother of Jo’Niya Writerand Rashawn Moore. She leaves behind to mourn her in death many nieces and nephews and her two favorite nephews and care takers, David L. Ballou (Sandia)
Willie J White (Richetta) who she referred to as her other sons, her goddaughter Ms. Shirley Piper who was also a Care taker and always stood by her side, her godson Lavar Daniels, Elnoria loved her dog, she had a pit bull who protected her with his life, She also enjoyed spending time with family, we would bring her to our house for the holidays and she would love eating Thanksgiving dinners, Christmas dinners and the Fourth of July barbeques , she loved to eat BBQ, we will truly miss you Auntie Nora, you took good care of us. We love you, rest well auntie, until we meet again.
