Efren Lamont Tarver, age 50, moved to his new residency in Glory on Monday, June 14, 2021. Youngest child of Annie Pearl Tarver, Efren was born January 28, 1971 at Albany Medical Center Hospital.
Efren, his wife of 29 years, Jacqueline Denise Tarver and their five children, were residents of Laurel, MD. He was good at sports. His abilities on the basketball court and his charisma earned him the name “Cream!”
Efren was a member of Maple Springs Baptist Church, Capitol Heights MD, Under the pastorate of Rev. Dr. Sam Tarver.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Jacqueline Denise Tarver, his children, Shadaya, Jah’cream, Dijon, Emani (Keenan), Jordan and Jalen Tarver; his grand daughter, Reign Royalty; his mother, Annie Pearl Tarver; parents-in-Love, Betty Anne Bellamy, John Bellamy; siblings, Rev. Suzette (Rev. Dr. Richard) Turpin, Carl “DuQuan” Newman, Stephen (Berta) Nicholson, Rev. Glendora (John) Battle, Rev. Dr. Jerome Sam (Lovie) Tarver, Jacqueline (Tony) Tarver; Siblings-in-Love, Mia (Quantrell) Brisbane, Otis (Alietta) Bellamy, John Bellamy, Mary Taye Ellis; Hardy Nicholson, Cathy Nicholson, Rahtiek Miller, “Shorty” Flores; Godmother, Mary Coleman; Godchildren, Ch’Naiyh Russell, Tatiana Murphy, Lexington Robinson; Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of cousins, extended family members and friends.
Efren was predeceased by his brother, William “Huntley” Ellis and father William Bowler.
