Cleveland (Jerry) lived life to the fullest, as a young man growing up in Newburgh, New York. (Jerry) played Basketball and attended Newburgh Free Academy where he later graduated and then served in the military. He then moved to Georgia in 1986 with his wife and children.
Jerry loved carpentry, long walks and building impossible bottles (ship building) he also loved photography and also was an avid bike rider. If anyone knew him, they knew his yellow ten speed, he loved helping his siblings to working in Gideons office to his sister Cathy's house he was a man of many hats. Jerry loved his kids, when you see him, you saw all 8 of his children not to mention a big German Shepard named THOR. Jerry was a father to many and a friend to most he was well loved and will be greatly missed by all.
Cleveland was predeceased by his parents Anna and Cleveland Mincey, sister Vida Cobbs, brothers Gideon K. Mincey, Tyrone Henderson, Stephen Henderson, and Joseph Henderson.
Survived by his Carol (Lorraine) Mincey of Albany, NY their 8 children Tyshea Mincey, Tyrone Ferrell, Deshawn Ferrell, Steven Mincey, Decia Mincey, Ivy Ferrell, Shannon Ferrell, Terrell Ferrell. Sister Catherine (Thomas) Spell of Atlanta, GA, Marquita (Bradley) Howard, of New York, NY, Michelle Henderson of Louisville KY. One Aunt Irene Garfield of Atlanta, GA, and grandkids, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
