Christine Jackson was born in Albany, New York on May 1, 1930 to Clarence Jackson and Carrie Rhem on. She departed this life on May 25, 2021. She was an identical twin to Ernestine Carter. They turned 91 years old on May 1, 2021 Christine was educated in the Albany Public school system and graduated from Albany High School in 1949.
Christine was employed at Albany Medical Center Hospital, from 1951 to 1986. The twins have lived their entire lives together. One working nights and one working days. After her retirement she babysat for the family, and many other children in the neighborhood. Christine was deeply loved, and a stern disciplinarian to all. We appreciated her direct response to how she felt. She was like a second mother to her nieces and nephews, In addition to many others. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, watching wrestling, CSI and her soap operas. She also enjoyed knitting .
She was predeceased by her son Gerald M Jackson 11/05/1997 and wife (Patricia), her brothers Clarence Jackson (Hattie) and James Jackson (Lula). Also, her sisters Vicky Motley (Frank) and Lillie Harris (George). She leaves to mourn her loving twin sister Ernestine Carter, and her brother Frederick Jackson (Mildred) of Portland Oregon. Christine also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and several grandchildren as well as many family members and friends.
Christine will surely be missed. To know her is to love her.
