Christian Keith Redmond

Christian Keith Redmond (Chris) was born in Albany NY on June 25, 1961 to Patricia Redmond and the late Tommy Jones of Albany, NY.  He departed this life on January 21, 2026 in Atlanta, Ga where he has resided over 20 years.

Chris received his education through the City of Albany public school district, and later he pursued his passion for the culinary arts through Glenmont Job Corp.  Chris gave his life to the Lord at an early age.  He became a member and an active participant of Wilborne Temple COGIC under the pastorship of Elder Emmett Jeffries and Elder Dees.

Chris enjoyed singing gospel songs and listening to gospel music.  When he was younger he would hold pretend church at home - he would be the preacher, usher, and choir director praising God in his own space.
Chris later relocated to Atlanta, GA where he eventually called home where he built his village of caring friends and co-workers who he loved and loved him.  Chris was employed for over 20 years at Northside Hospital, Atlanta GA until his time of death.  He made many friends and was loved by many who came to know him (doctors, nurses, managers, supervisors and food service workers to name a few).

He leaves to cherish his memory his siblings, Anthony Redmond (Shevil) Concord, NC; Denise Redmond Vernal (Richard), Schenectady, NY;  Lamont Redmond (Beverly) Albany, NY and one nephew Kareem Redmond, Hyattsville, MD.  Three Uncles;  Wayne Redmond, Ralph Goins and Sammy Hickman.  Godmother, Mother Geneva Conway.  Special friends; Steve, Lorraine and Gregory Cox, Ms. Dee, Ms. Tab, Tammy Taylor, Theresa Ford , Joanne Smithwrick,  Lionel Hamilton, Loretta Fantroy, Maxine Fantroy.  And a host of other relatives and friends.
